Find reliable benchmarks in your locations, including base salary, variable, equity, total cash + total compensation.

In Explore The Market: Compensation Benchmarks, you can filter by:

  • Position (job families and specific roles)

  • Location (countries and cities)

  • Market (specific market slices, such as Fintech or Small companies)

This enables you to find a relevant role benchmark in a reliable, real-time dataset.

Types of compensation benchmarks

You can toggle between different compensation benchmark types at the top of the page.

These types include: Base salary, Variable (commission, bonus), Equity, Total Cash (Base salary + Variable) and Total Compensation (Base salary + Variable + Equity).

To find this information, please click the three dots in the Benchmark Confidence column.

Share a benchmark

To share a benchmark externally, without giving a user access to the Ravio platform, you can click the Share icon at the end of the benchmark row.

Their link will expire in 14 days.

The viewer can see the benchmark level above and below too.

Changing target percentile

You can select any target percentile in Ravio, from 10 to 90.

To explore other target percentiles, select the filter at the top of the page.

Changing dataset

If you have uploaded custom market data, you can explore those benchmarks by clicking the black 'R' icon in the top right corner.

Changing timeframe

To switch between benchmarks in monthly or annual view, please click the calendar icon in the top right corner.

Changing currency

To view benchmarks in either local currency or your company currency, please click the coin icon in the top right corner.

To change your company currency, please navigate to your Settings: Currencies.

You must supply your own equity details to unlock Equity and Total Cash benchmarks.  

Equity benchmarks represent annualised new hire grants.

A typical grant with a four-year vesting period is 4x the annualised number shown.
