How to integrate with Cornerstone OnDemand

A step by step guide detailing how to connect Ravio with your Cornerstone OnDemand HRIS.

Prerequisites

You need to be a Cornerstone Administrator to complete this integration. If you are not please hand this setup over to your Cornerstone Admin.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1 - Create a New Application in Cornerstone

Login to your Cornerstone portal and navigate to Admin > Tools > Edge > API Management.

On the Manage Applications tab, click Register New Application. Entering the below details:

  • Application Name = Ravio Integration
  • User ID = Your user ID
  • Access Token Validity = leave this empty

Step 2 - Assign the Correct Scopes

In the Scopes section enter the scopes below:

  • employee:read
  • group:read
  • vw_rpt_ou:read
  • vw_rpt_compensation_history:read
  • performance_review:read

Once this is created, make sure to copy the Client ID and Client Secret as this will be used in the next step.

Step 3 - Enter the Details in Ravio

In Ravio, add in your Cornerstone subdomain, then enter the previously copied Client ID and Client Secret.
