How to integrate with Oracle HCM
A step by step guide showing how to set up an integration between Ravio and Oracle HCM
Prerequisites
Under Tools in the left hand menu, if you do not see the "Security Console" setting, you don't have the right permissions to complete the connection.

If not, please hand this task over to your Oracle Admin.
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1 - Copy your Oracle HCM Cloud Address
Log into your Oracle HCM Cloud instance. Copy the value of the URL, everything from "https://" to the first "/" and paste it into the connection flow.

Step 2 - Create a User with the Required Permissions
Click on the 3-bar menu in the top left of your Oracle HCM Cloud instance and go to Tools > Security Console.
Go to Users then Add User Account
Ensure the below details are filled in and enter a strong username and password.
- Associated Person Type: None
- Account Information: Active
- User Category: Default
- First Name: Ravio
- Last Name: Integration

Next, click on "Add Role".
Next, for each required role, search for the role, select the role, and then add the role:
Note: This will look different in each case, please add the roles found in the Ravio connection flow:
Finally, once you have added all the required roles to the user, press "Save and Close".
Step 3 - Add these details into Ravio
Finally, add the user details into the Ravio onboarding flow to finalise the connection. You have the option to either authenticate with Basic auth (username & password) or JWT (Public & Private key)
