How to integrate with Recruitee

A step by step guide detailing how to set up an integration between Ravio and Recruitee

Prerequisites

To complete this integration make sure you are an Administrator of your Recruitee instance. To check this click on your user in the top right of the homepage. If you see ‘Administrator’ underneath your user you have the required rights.

If you do not see this, please reach out to your Recruitee admin to either grant you the required access or to take over this integration.

Step by Step Instructions

If you are an Administrator of your Recruitee instance and would like another user to set up this integration, you will have to make sure the user has the expected permissions. The best way to do this is to create a new Ravio-specific Hiring role.

Feel free to skip the optional steps below if this is not required.

Optional - Create a new Ravio role & Assign users

Navigate to Settings in your Recruitee instance, and then to Company > Hiring Roles.

Once there, create a new role, naming it something descriptive then assugn the user you wish to complete the integration by either Reassigning an existing user or inviting a new user to Recruitee.

Optional - Assign the correct permissions

The required permissions to assign to this role are all in the Ravio connection flow, these will typically be the permissions listed below but make sure to cross check against the flow as it could be different.

  • General: Basic permissions
    • Collaborate on candidates
    • Join hiring teams
  • General: Jobs
    • View all existing jobs data
  • General: Hires
    • View hired candidates
    • Manage hired candidates
  • General: Candidates
    • Manage candidates
  • Add-ons
    • Manage API tokens
    • Manage webhooks

Create the API credentials

In the Settings menu sidebar navigate to Apps and Plugins > Personal API Tokens. Then click on + New Token.

This will prompt you to enter a name for the token, and ask you to enter a verification code that will be shared with you via email.

Enter the relevant details into Ravio

This will make the token visible for you to copy. Add this into the Ravio Onboarding flow.

The integration also required you to enter your company ID. You can find this at the top of the page on the Personal API Tokens page. In the example below this is 116243.
