How to integrate with SmartRectruiters

A step by step guide detailing how to set up an integration between Ravio and SmartRecruiters.

Prerequisites

You must be have Admin Access in your SmartRecruiters instance to set this integration up.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1 - Create an Integration User

This step avoids the integration being dependent on an individual’s user in SmartRecruiters. Not completing this step can lead to the integration breaking if the person’s role changes or they leave your company.

Navigate to Settings > Permissions > User Management

Then create a new user with the below settings:

  • First name: Ravio
  • Last name: Integration
  • Email: The email address of an Admin user
  • Sign-in options: Email/Password
  • User role: Admin

Step 2 - Sign in to SmartRecruiters via the Onboarding Flow

Open the Ravio Onboarding flow. The first page will show you the fields that Ravio will be able to read from your SmartRecruiters instance. Once accepted you will be propmpted to sign in to SmartRecruiters.

Make sure to sign out of SmartRecruiters first! Then use the new Integration User credentials we just created.

Once you have signed in, SmartRecruiters will display the permissions that are granted for this integration for your acceptance.
